Mitchell County Concert Association [MCCA], founded 50 years ago, is a membership-supported nonprofit organization hosting high-quality professional musical, comedy, dance, and theatrical performances at affordable and value-packed rates, making live entertainment accessible to anyone. Memberships include reciprocity agreements with similar concert series in Algona and Clear Lake, providing members with a season pass for admission at any of these locations. Single tickets are also available at each concert for the Osage performances only.

Most performances are held in the Krapek Family Fine Arts Center at the Cedar River Complex in Osage, a beautiful facility with modern sound and lighting features attractive to guests and performers. Live performances have included programming in a variety of musical genres - Broadway hits, country, jazz, classical, folk, big band, pop, oldies - performed by vocal and instrumental soloists and groups of national and international fame. Other artistic performances over the years have included magicians, comedians, dancers. Performances are suitable for all ages.

The excitement of attending a live performance is a memorable experience. It is a unique and shared experience that transcends recordings. The goal of the MCCA is to provideĀ  entertainment experiences that will foster community and opportunity for emotional and sensory connections. The live entertainment MCCA provides has a dynamic energy and spontaneity that recordings cannot capture, allowing for artistic improvisation and interaction with the audience. Everyone who attends these performances takes away inspiration, encouragement, and positivity.

MCCA is an all-volunteer organization. The Board meets 3-4 times a year for planning purposes. If you are interested in serving as a board member, please contact us.
